font (serif & sans-serif)- serif font has letters with a curve while sans-serif doesnt.
margin- the edge or border of something.
guide (illustrator guides)- a line to use on illustrator.
bleed- (with reference to an illustration or design) print or be printed so that it runs off the page after trimming.
CMYK- The CMYK color model (process color, four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself.CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black).
proof copy- (publishing) a copy of (a book, story, etc) made from trial impressions made from composed type, or print-outs (from a laser printer, etc) for the correction of errors
registration mark- The registered trademark symbol, designated by ® (the circled capital letter R), is a symbol that provides notice that the preceding word or symbol is a trademark or service mark that has been registered with a national trademark office.

-rule of thirds- The rule of thirds is a powerful compositional technique for making photos more interesting and dynamic.
-resolution- the replacing of a single force or other vector quantity by two or more jointly equivalent to it.
camera functions
-auto focus- An autofocus (or AF) optical system uses a sensor, a control system and a motor or tunable optical element to focus automatically or on a manually selected point or area.
-white balance (ISO)- In the days of film photography, ISO was known as ASA and it was the indication of how sensitive a particular film was to light. The most simple definition of why we adjust white balance is to get the colors in your images as accurate as possible.
-shot timer- Takes the time before taking the shot.
